Spotlight Events DJs

 Spotlight was founded by Don Panzik,
who started his entertainment career
in the early 1980s in Raleigh, North Carolina.

Coming from a musical family,
Don is an accomplished songwriter,
performer and musician
(guitar, bass, drums, keyboards,
harmonica, woodwinds, percussions, vocals).

Don's career has taken him throughout
the Eastcoast (from Maine to Florida)
several times as well as spending years in the
Caribbean, Europe, Hawaii, South America & Mexico.

Through the years, Don has worked with
many well-known hit recording artists such as
Eddie Money, Rich Sambora (Bon Jovi & Cher),
Slash (Guns 'n Roses), Rick Springfield,
Lester Chambers (Chambers Brothers)
& Colin Hay (Men at Work).

Don Panzik has had the privilege to entertain
hundreds of thousands of people over the years
as a Performer, Recording Artist, DJ & Emcee.

 In 1989, Don moved from Cape Cod to Orange County,
where he met his wife, Jacki, a UCI college-trained
disc jockey, radio personality & vocalist.

Jacki, as well, comes from a musical family in New Mexico.
Beginning her musical training at a young age,
Jacki was classically trained as a pianist and vocalist.
She is quite popular as a singer in her community.

Together, Don & Jacki have recorded and
performed as a duo, with their band, "The Tans"
and they consistantly work as
Mobile DJs.

 Having performed many types of events,
from wedding receptions to corporate functions,
concerts, night clubs & cruise ships,
we've been able to build a strong reputation
based on the highest standards and integrity.
